The NEDAR Foundation is a 501(c)(3) which is classified by the Internal Revenue Service as a public charity. Contributions to The NEDAR Foundation are tax deductible to the full extent permitted under state and federal regulations.
All contributions are used to support the foundation activities which include:
- Research of information from Poland
- Translation of documents from Polish or Russian originals.
- Gathering of documentation of emigration.
- Review of census, birth, marriage and death records of descendants of original Russian-Polish ancestors
- Archiving documents and photos
- Publication of Newsletters
- Publication of family history books
- Publication of articles in genealogical publications
- Participation in lectures and public forums
There are no paid employees of The NEDAR Foundation. Every dollar is used for expenses required to carry on its’ activities.
