Lucinda Sippy was born at Mount Jackson, Beaver County, PA on June 29, 1817, daughter of a Frenchman by the name of Trimo, who later changed his name to Joseph Sippy. She married first Sterling Crosby who died in Iowa. She later married Mr. Hershey. Mrs. Hershey died at the home of her granddaughter, Mrs. Josephine Bowers Redman, at Wayside, Dawes County, NE, October 2, 1912 and was buried at Chadron, NE in the Greenwood Cemetery. Fort Kearney Chapter marked her grave. |
